Well, unfortunately, it seems our science article suggestion contest was pretty much a bust, and has thus been canceled. We did receive a few submissions, but not enough to actually turn it into a contest. Thank you to those who did submit ideas.
We're trying to figure out exactly what went wrong. Despite what appeared to be some positive engagement on facebook, people never took us up on the offer. I suspect people felt it was some sort of scam - I know I certainly don't often believe offers of free stuff from the interwebs. Of course, we were not scamming people in any way. Maybe they knew that but were still too lazy to submit. Either way, it didn't pan out.
We're in a bit of a Catch 22 here. We wanted to have a contest to help get ideas for content that would attract more people to the site. But we don't seem to have enough readership to pull off such a contest. You need fans to get fans. So please, help us out, and tell your friends. If you do have suggestions for reviews or science adventures, please pass them along. We have fun writing for you, and we want you to have fun reading our content.

One of the most exciting aspects of Team Hamster Hat is the Science experiments. We have highly trained Scientists, monkeys, and super-mutant lab rats at our facilities to bring you the most interesting, scientifically sound experiments this side of the universe.
But alas, there are no feats of Science yet present on THH. And it's not for lack of trying (drunken Mario Kart got a little too drunk...). That, dear reader, is where you come in!
Team Hamster Hat is hosting a contest! We will be accepting suggestions for feats of Science from anyone and everyone from today through September 7th. From those suggestions, we will select our favorite 5 and put a poll up on the site for you guys to vote for the best. The winner will receive a $15 iTunes gift card!!

Official Rules:
Between August 31 and September 7, send an email to theteam@teamhamsterhat.com with your suggestion for a feat of Science!
The top 5 submissions will be put to a public vote on the site. The winner will be announced on September 14 and he/she will receive a $15 iTunes gift card!
If you don't use iTunes, then sell it on eBay, you elitist bastard!
